There is something to CeLEbRATe!!

I just had my first jewelry show at 30th Annual Arts & Crafts show at Lawrence, KS with my Yoga friend, Carol. She made wonderful greating cards, called "Anything Quote. She took the photographs of scenery wherever she went and used her talent to come up with quote that suited the picture and made them greeting cards and put them in picture frame. her quotes that she picked are so meaningful and memorable both the person who received and the person who gave to. As you can see my display was absolutely unorganized. Thanks to Carol for lending me one of her acrylic card shelf. There were a lot of people showed up for the shows and to enjoy the nice cool weather that we had yesterday. Best of all we made some sales too.

Flower in the Air far this FALL

I just love this purple flower that I got them when I went to visit my cousin in Santa Cruz. There is a bead store called Beadazzler shop, it has all kind of glass bead you can find. I spent a very long time look through the store. Here is some of the pieces that I create. I am working on several pieces that involved flowers. Summer fun FUN fUn

I hope all of you have a great summer. I know I do. This summer, I just had my schedule full. Start with my younger son went to 10 days scout camp. My older son's college orientation. Then we went on vacation in Santa Cruz during 4th of July. I went around and found some really good bead stores. I bought a bunch of beads. I just listed lovely anklet with sterling silver chain and small bead, as 2-3 mm diameter of pearl, Turquoise, Coral, Moss Agate and Garnet. The same pattern, I made the necklace with small stones. One of them is Star is born necklace and Faith. I just love doing the bead linking. I am so hook to it. Now we just started to slow down. I can't believe school is going to start soon. I just found kcetsy group and joined them recently. I am so glad to find etsy fellows that live closed by where I live. I always think that I am all alone in my location. I hope to meet them soon. I just love the mysterious of Coral. These Coral come with all shape and size. I used freeform Coral wire wrapped as pendants. There is never one looks exactly the same. I was thinking this time of year with the economy is so bad, something that is pretty and doesn't cost that much, might be a good idea. Like my toe rings, that I sold many of them in the short period of time. It has to be right price right time and pretty at the same time. Let's wait and see...

My toe ring was a hit!!

There is something to talk about. First I made toe ring for myself then, I think I can sell this toe ring because it is so cute. I made them like a flower with pearl and the ring I just coil it, made it more adjustable. Sometime I wear it on my pinky finger. After couple of days that I listed couple of toe rings in my etsy shop, one of them was sold. So I was kind of bragging about in my facebook, posted the picture of the ring. One of my friend who is in Yoga class that I am in, mentioned that she wanted to see my toe ring. So I showed her right away because I wore it with me. After that many of my Yoga fellows stormed in to see what it was going on. They all thought that it is cute. I got 4 orders right at the spot. After making  some extra, just in case another might like it too, I went to the class next time, I sold 5 more and 2 custom orders again. It is such a wonderful feeling that someone like my stuffs.
